What is the "Pink 'n' White Difference?"

"Our Clients are Our Friends" is more than just our motto. We speak your language and really listen to you. But there's more... we also use better methods and safer chemicals.

There are huge differences between salons. Nail techs in most salons won't take the proper time (or they lack the training & experience) to sculpt your nails in what we call true Pink ‘n’ White (French manicure). Common shortcuts are air brushing or gluing on white plastic tips. Both tactics are faster and cheaper (for the salon), but the look is bad, and the quality is poor. These shortcuts are very inferior to actually sculpting each nail with pink and white acrylic powder like we -- and other reputable salons -- do.

Sculpting takes time, and a steady hand to make the perfect “smiley line" on each nail. In addition to a better appearance, sculpted nails are far more durable so they last a lot longer. And as the nails grow, keeping up (“filling”) is simply a matter of buffing and adding acrylic. But with the other (shortcut) methods, the tech has to basically start from scratch each time.

Ever wonder why they wear masks at some salons? They use cheap MMA-based chemicals, and don't want to breath it in. The FDA says "MMA is a dangerous and deleterious substance" (click here for info). Though more expensive, we use only EMA-based chemicals. For your safety, if you aren't yet a Pink 'n' White Salon customer, ask your current salon about the chemicals they use.

"I love my nails by Edna. They last thru doing dishes to typing every day. I have never had one break. They always look nice and I get compliments on them from total strangers. They make me feel beautiful. I have tried other places when Edna has been too busy to get in to but they do not compare to her talent and personal touch. I will never go to another for my nail care. Thanks Edna!!! Love ya!!!"
